Private by design — not as a setting
Worthline collects nothing. There are no accounts to create, no servers we run, and no analytics or advertising in the app. Your data is encrypted with a key derived from your passphrase and stored only on your device. If you turn on your phone’s own backup, onlyciphertext ever leaves — and that’s your choice, with a switch in Settings.
The honest flip side: there is no password reset and no back door. Lose the passphrase and the data is unreadable — by us or anyone. Worthline takes that seriously rather than quietly: a getting-started checklist that tracks your real backups, an optional lock-screen hint you write for yourself, and a lock screen that tells you exactly what recovery options you have before you ever need them.
