Terms of Use
This is the same Terms of Use text shown inside the Worthline app.
Which terms apply to you
Worthline runs on several platforms and the licence you hold depends on where you got it. If you installed it from the App Store on iPhone or Mac, your licence is Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, published at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. If you installed it from Google Play, Google’s terms apply. If you installed it from the Microsoft Store on Windows, Microsoft’s standard application licence terms apply. Worthline is not distributed outside those stores, so the store that supplied your copy is also the source of your licence.
The rest of this page describes how Worthline works and what it does not do. It is not a substitute for the licence above, and nothing here reduces any right you have under that licence or under law that cannot be set aside — including, on the App Store, the ability to ask Apple for a refund.
Educational planning tool — not advice
Worthline is a private planning workbook for exploring your own numbers. Every figure it shows is a simplified estimate built from the values you enter — taxes, for example, are modeled from the deduction lines you provide, not a certified tax engine.
Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions. You are responsible for your own choices.
Your passphrase, your responsibility
Your data is encrypted with a key derived from your passphrase, and there is no recovery mechanism. If you forget your passphrase, your data cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else. Keep your passphrase safe — a password manager is a good place — and keep your own backups or transfer files.
Provided “as is”
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to the licence that applies to you, the developer accepts no liability for any loss or damage — including lost data or financial loss — arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software.
Support and maintenance are Studio350’s responsibility, not the responsibility of whichever store you installed from. Questions, complaints and claims should come to us at hello@worthline.app.
Your data is yours
You retain full ownership of the data you enter. The app stores it locally for you and gives you tools to back it up and move it. The developer claims no rights over your data and has no access to it.
Purchases and subscriptions
Worthline Supporter is an optional purchase that unlocks convenience features; every core feature of the app is free without it. It is offered as a monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
All purchases are processed by the app store you installed Worthline from (the Apple App Store or, when available, Google Play or the Microsoft Store) under that store's own terms. Prices are shown in the store's payment sheet before you confirm. Worthline has no server and no account system: your purchase is tied to your store account, and restoring it on a new device uses the store's own restore mechanism.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your store account's subscription settings; your access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies — the developer cannot see, charge, or refund payments directly.
